Children are good examples of this as they are not trying to be someone else they are just themselves with no preconceptions, thus drawing others towards them without knowing it. In adults it can be more difficult to be true to yourself as you may have views as how you think you should be, or behave differently round some people compared to others.

This could be down to limiting beliefs or negative emotions you didn’t know existed but have cemented themselves in your unconscious mind. Try letting go of your inhibitions or worries and be yourself just like you did as a child and see what happens. There is something liberating about being at peace with yourself and not over thinking everything and worrying what people think of you, just be you and learn to be more accepting and kinder to yourself.
When we accept ourselves, we are more confident in ourselves and this is projected out from us and picked up by others’ via their mirror reflexes that work at an unconscious level. When they pick up what you are projecting, they will release the same chemicals found within you and reciprocate that confidence back at you.
